-       Practice doing your maths certificate in 3/5 minutes

-       Read Friday Bookclub book and fill in your reading log. Share your favourite part of a text with someone or write it down in your homework book.

-       Learn your spelling words – show the syllables in your words, using hyphens, (-).

Activity:Me Mural

This week’s homework focuses on finding out more about each other, to help us develop our class culture.

Using your Mural/Quilt Piece, please think carefully about and plan what you will draw to show each of the following:

1. Your favourite things.

2. Your interests.

3. Your family/whanau/pets.

4. Your achievements, skills and talents.

5. Your future goals.

Your name will go in bold, eye-catching lettering in the small rectangular box in the middle.

Pencil your drawings first, then outline in black pen/pencil to make it stand out. Colour in with colouring pencils – thinking about colour use, background and neatness.

Remember the RIVER values of excellence, respect and being innovative in all your work presentation this year.

Extra: Finish any unfinished title pages. Due this week: homework, reading, maths strand, draft writing
