Kai's in New York City!

Hi there,
Happily arrived to NYC on Friday night (instead of Saturday morning).
We were very lucky to get on an earlier flight from LA to NYC so we
can get a good night sleep (in a real bed) and start fresh Saturday
morning.

Pallet Upcycling Competition

The Year 6's, as part of their technology unit, have designed a go-cart and a raised strawberry garden as their entries in the upcoming pallet recycling competition for Nelson and Tasman. Rules: You must recycle two pallets (and not add more than 20% extra to them) for a practical use. Here are some photos of the building process on Friday 7th June.

The great ANZAC biscuit bake off!

The year 6's in Room 2 split into 3 teams and used three different ANZAC biscuit recipes they found online to have a grand bake off competition to finish their technology unit on cooking.
