It was a long flight but we made it to NYC at last.
It's summer here and the days are sunny and the nights are warm.
I went to the Earth School today and was doing reading and maths. It
was nice to be a guest student and everyone was very friendly and
helpful.

Hi there,
Happily arrived to NYC on Friday night (instead of Saturday morning).
We were very lucky to get on an earlier flight from LA to NYC so we
can get a good night sleep (in a real bed) and start fresh Saturday
morning.

Pallet Upcycling Competition

The Year 6's, as part of their technology unit, have designed a go-cart and a raised strawberry garden as their entries in the upcoming pallet recycling competition for Nelson and Tasman. Rules: You must recycle two pallets (and not add more than 20% extra to them) for a practical use. Here are some photos of the building process on Friday 7th June.
